Alecia Warneke

Alecia swam competitively from the time she was 6 years old through high school. When the military moved her young family to Germany, she started and ran a Federal Child Care (FCC) Center in their home. Teaching swimming lessons was the perfect marriage for her love of children and the water. She’s been teaching swimming lessons for over 30 years now and loves it!  She holds her WSI certification, certifications for YMCA Swim Instruction for Adult, Child and Infant, as well as being BLS/CPR/First Aid certified. Alecia trains all of our instructors, and ensures consistent and quality programming for all of our students.

She and her husband, Jeff, have lived in Forsyth County with their 3 sons for over 25 of these years.  Now that the boys are out of the house, when she is not working, she enjoys hanging out with her grandkids, working out, cooking, and traveling to her next big adventure!
